Last week was a sports week for football enthusiasts at the Dubai campus. First, the BBAs and MBAs organized a 7-a-side football tournament which took place at a high school in Dubai. We tried our best to make it look professional by having appropriate bidding for the players, looking for sponsors for jerseys, having a caring management team for each team, etc… Football players, management, as well as the supporters all had unlimited fun. It was a suitable way to mix with the MBA students and get to know them more. It doesn’t end here.
The following day was a Corporate Sports Event, whereby S P Jain was one among the many sponsors. For this event, many people and teams came from the whole of Dubai to participate. Among the participants were students and working people as well. As for football, there were around 400 teams, and we were one among them. Though we were very small in number, we still made it to the quarter finals. Even this event was a great opportunity for social interactions as there were participants from big companies as well.
