An exciting Friday really waited for this day since it was a chance for them to learn a new sport. The students afternoon for the BBA-2014 students started with an afternoon bus ride - around 3:45 pm going to Dubai Mall – where the Ice Rink is located.

They were all excited to spend their free day on the Ice Skating Rink!  A great number of students participated in this event since they were all eager to try ice skating in the Olympic size ice rink which is located at the world’s largest shopping mall! It was a new experience for most of the students, so they went straight to the ice rink upon reaching Dubai Mall. After getting their tickets, the students started with their ice skating activity! The ones who knew how to skate were helping the learners and making them skaters too. While some students were tired after an hour of ice skating, the others were so energetic and enjoyed the activity up to the last minute. This activity did not only bring fun and excitement to the students, but also a chance to bond and help each other. After the ice skating activity, the students were given time to go around Dubai Mall. At around 7pm, the students were all set to go home. The bus ride going back was full of stories about their ice skating experience.

At the end of the day, a lot of students went home as skaters thanks to this great new experience and their friends who helped them. It was indeed a well spent weekend for the students.

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS:

It was a fun filled experience! Thanks to the college I now know how to skate, a few bruises here and there on the ankles, but at the end of the day it was all worth it!
