New Jag: Arounen Murdhen (Mauritius)

Written by SP Jain Global | Apr 21, 2018 6:30:30 PM

Hey Jags! My name is Arounen and I come from the Paradise Island - Mauritius! Being trilingual, I am fluent in Creole, French, and English. Ever since my secondary school days, I enjoyed participating in extracurricular activities, such as Junior Achievement, Build Your Business, and Australian Maths Competition amongst others. I enjoy teamwork and always ready to learn new things.

Name: Arounen Murdhen | Hometown: Quatre Bornes, Mauritius

‘Vitae Non-Scholae Discendum’ has been my motto for life. It means ‘learn for life and not for school’. I picked up this motto from the college I attended – the Royal College Port Louis. Follow this mantra and success shall follow you.

I am a fan of movies and an avid reader of leadership books by Robin Sharma, Dale Carnegie, and Napoleon Hill, just to mention a few. I thoroughly enjoy taking part in outdoor activities like mountain climbing, hiking, and football. Joining SP Jain School is a unique opportunity for me to discover new cities and their cuisines, learn new languages and meet new people and listen to their life stories.

I’m thrilled to meet you all in September! Can’t wait to start this new adventure!
