After having spent almost two years (in Singapore & Dubai) of my life at S P Jain School of Global Management, living the life of a Jaguar has changed me dramatically. Here is a list of the five biggest changes I have experienced halfway through my tri-city BBA course.

Some days, I just ask myself, was coming to S P Jain worth it? Then I take a second just to sit back and assess that thought… and 99% of the time I’d get up from my seat with the same answer—YES, it was.

“Singapore, France, Dubai, Sydney”, I routinely say. “”That’s great!” or “I’m so jealous!” are the subsequent replies I get most of the time. It’s funny how everyone I meet has the same reaction, and I immediately know what runs through their minds. Like a 36 inch TV, the immediate Marina Bay Sands, Eiffel Tower, Burj Khalifa, and Sydney Opera house radiate from their tantalized eyes. I know because I was once there. Yet, I know, that was not all.

Last week was a sports week for football enthusiasts at the Dubai campus. First, the BBAs and MBAs organized a 7-a-side football tournament which took place at a high school in Dubai. We tried our best to make it look professional by having appropriate bidding for the players, looking for sponsors for jerseys, having a caring management team for each team, etc… Football players, management, as well as the supporters all had unlimited fun. It was a suitable way to mix with the MBA students and get to know them more. It doesn’t end here.
