Adventure! SP Jain Jaguars

The CFA Institute is the world's most respected credentialing group for Chartered Financial Analysts^®. So when a team of S P Jain masters students won first place at the CFA Institute Research Challenge contest for universities throughout Dubai, it was a huge honor. But equally remarkable was the fact that a team of second-year undergraduate Jaguars took second place -- beating out teams who were much more senior, and had much greater experience in the world of finance.

The BBA Jags of the Mumbai campus were taken on an outbound tour of Lavasa city 193 kms away from Mumbai. Lavasa is India’s first entirely private city built from scratch. Lavasa draws influence from the fishing village of Portofino in the Italian Riviera. The objective of the visit was to showcase some of the world’s most unique sustainability practices being followed in Lavasa.

BBA Jags of the Mumbai campus were taken around a site tour of the Trident & Oberoi Hotel’s South Mumbai property as part of the SCSR subject’s Industry initiatives. The objective of the visit was to get an understanding around the prevailing Sustainability practices being followed by the Hotel Group.

Hello everyone. My name is Chea Somaly (or Maly for short), from Cambodia. This is my first time to study overseas, which has been my dream since I was young.
