Fun

Fun Oh my gosh. Where to start? Just for starters, Jaguars have:  gone bicycling on a jungle island, organized a big fun run, backpacked through Vietnam and Laos, gone to Ferrari World, barbecued with faculty on the beach, had a prom (dance), held a beauty contest, conducted a Model United Nations, competed in Tarang (multi-university Indian student event), gone museum hopping in Singapore, surfed and gone sailing in Sydney, published their own magazine, held ping-pong competitions, organized a philosophy club, held numerous performance nights, held Dynamic Africa day-long event, built houses for the homeless in Cambodia, vacationed together in Bali, Bintan Island, Thailand and Malaysia, published their Harlem Shake

Jobs and Internships

Jobs Many Jags choose to get part-time jobs in Singapore and Sydney to help pay for college. The Singapore government gives special permission to foreign students at certain colleges (including S P Jain) to work 16 hours a week when classes are in session, and 40 hours a week during breaks. In Australia, it’s 20 hours during classes and 40 hours otherwise. Foreign students in Dubai are not allowed to work.

Money

If you live on campus, your housing will already be paid for. So all you have to worry about is food and incidental expenses. For most Jags, though, this is the first time they have had to manage their own expenses.

Classes and Agendas

Sometimes with all the exciting things to do at S P Jain, it's hard to remember the real reason that you came, namely to STUDY and LEARN . Nevertheless, this is a serious college, where are are expected to work very hard. How else are you going to become a global business leader?

Sydney Campus

Diggin' It Down Under Sydney has it all -- beaches, nightlife, outdoor sports, and a big, big country to explore. That's why the Jags call it (unofficially, of course) the most "kick ass" city of all. And it's probably why Australia is one of the top destinations worldwide for foreign students. In fact, foreign students represent the second-largest sector of Australia's economy, second only to mining.

Dubai Campus

Hot Stuff! Dubai was S P Jain's very first campus, and it's very impressive. It's located in the heart of Dubai's International Academic City, along with a host of other prestigious international universities. It's about a 20-minute drive from the heart of downtown Dubai. The great thing about this location is that you mix with students from all over the world, especially at the shared food court. Wait till you try the hummus and falafel at the Lebanese booth!
