What a way to end the school year! On April 8, Dubai Jags went to Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, a hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first resort to be built on the island and is themed on the myth of Atlantis but includes distinct Arabian elements.

Being a vegetarian can be an interesting journey, especially when you travel to places like Singapore and Sydney where you need literally hunt for vegetarian food. When I was in Singapore, it was really tough for me to find good places to eat off campus, and I am sure people around me might have felt the same. (The canteen on the Singapore campus has healthy and inexpensive veg meals, cooked Indian style, and you can also get veg offerings at the snack bar.)

You want to talk about all the impromptu trips you’ve done? Try travelling across the world, all alone, having sat on the plane for the first time in your life. The thoughts of having never left the country throughout his life, the prospect of meeting people from other nationalities apart from his own countrymen was terrifying and shook every bone in the body. Yet, this man took that step ahead, knowing not what was ahead, hoping to forget the bad memories of the past and collecting souvenirs of the great past. An engineering student was about to pursue a business degree at S P Jain School of Global management, of which he knew nothing.

Hello, everyone -- or as we say in Finnish: Hei kaikille! I am so excited to meet you all and get to know three different countries with you. One of my interests is to learn new languages and experience different cultures and customs. I speak Finnish, Italian, English, Swedish and I can handle daily conversations in Mandarin Chinese. I am also trying to study Japanese in my free-time.
